Following an early career as an auditor and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Jane spent lengthy periods at the UK regulator where her responsibilities included authorising and supervising insurers, implementing European Directives and developing insurance policy.

Jane has held a variety of positions at KPMG. In particular, she established KPMG’s Insurance Regulatory Practice and Global Regulatory Network, and instigated the firms’ services relating to broking regulation and Solvency II for insurance groups. Predominantly her work relates to advising insurers and brokers on implementing prudential and conduct regulatory change in the business, dealing with strategic regulatory and wider commercial aspects such as optimising legal entity structure, capital efficiency and market access models, as well as supporting firms to deal with supervisory engagement, issues and interventions.

Jane currently works within The Strategy Group where she leads KPMG’s regulatory advisory services for insurers and brokers, and the firm’s strategic group structuring services for the sector. Her personal focus is on advising international groups and acting as a client relationship partner, as well as supporting initiatives relating to Diversity & Inclusion.
